Oil spill nears panhandle


The goo hasn't hit shore, but tourism takes a beating as the mess approaches Florida's white sands.
"'The phones just basically stopped ringing in the past couple of weeks for new bookings this summer,' said Laura Lee, a spokeswoman for the Pensacola Bay Area Convention and Visitors Bureau."

Fears grow that the pollution will creep up the Atlantic coast too.
