Tonight I'm purposefully missing live TV coverage of the Country Music Association awards, Nashville's biggest night.
The CMA broke my heart a few years when Loretta Lynn received ZERO nominations for "Van Lear Rose." A better comeback CD has not been made, particularly in Guitar Town.
So as the CMA prepares to announce that some pansy-ass suburban pencil-dick whose records rely on extensive editing because he can't sing has been named ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR, I'm listening to Loretty, Music City's best songwriter. Eva. Eva.
