'I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue'

If she expected to make a news splash, Chely Wright could have had better timing in announcing she's a lesbian.

The country-music star is about the last thing they're talking about on Music Row these days.

But by the time Nashville notices, an out-of-the-closet gal down on 16th Avenue may not even register as news, which might be good for Wright (left).

Meanwhile, I'm hoping Terri Clark (right) finally comes out, and she and Wright hook up to become Nashville's latest royal couple, just like Johnny and June or George and Tammy.
