Oh, noes! The otherzzzz!



















Citizens and city council members in Prescott, Arizona, complained about a Spanish-language banner encouraging participation in the U.S. Census. So the banner came down.

Seriously?  First, federal money dole-outs are based on the census. So doing anything to suppress a census count is just dumb-assery.

Second, it's ARIZONA, for gawd's sake. A state, you know, with tons of Hispanic heritage. 

But apparently the Grand Canyon State is also home to tons of cranky white people. Who knew?
