
Finally saw the flick. Loved it.
A friend opined that it's less about race and more about morality. Amen. With his crusty old character (who repeats the phrase "get off my lawn" at least three times), Clint Eastwood shows that humanity crosses all borders.
And yeah, the movie won my heart with its title wheels. The Ford Gran Torino has less panache than many others in the pantheon of muscle cars. But much like Eastwood's anti-hero late-life characters, it's something to be reckoned with.
